it is already the 6th day of raya and calling people in msia, they are still celebrating.. that's what i like in msia.. open house invitations are until the 30th day and the radio still blares raya songs. here, it is usually back to normal after the 3rd day unless of course some ppl still have their open houses due to the full class schedule and what not.

for me, my winamp is back to my normal songs. no more selamat hari raya by saloma or aidilfitri by rafeah buang..it is back to hoobastank and misha omar and siti nurhaliza.. the food is back to the normal nasi putih and lauk ayam and sayur. no more rendang or lontong.. the outfit is back to jeans and shirts., no more baju kurung with high heels.. life is back to normal and reality sets back in

my exams is in roughly 2 weeks and i am still not ready. damn scary. this is the first time i have exams in winter. for the past 3 years, michaelmas term is purely for enjoyment, meeting your friends after 3 months of summer break, planning winter holidays, trips to cinemas.. but never studying for exams. so when suddenly after 3 months of crash course, the exam is nearing.. i am feeling.. a panic attack!

help!!!! need to study.. need to study.. less time daydreaming.. less time shopping.. less time cooking.. less time cleaning up.. but it never does, doesnt it? when exam is nearby, suddenly the most boring things become interesting.. like cleaning up the fridge (although i havent gotten there yet) or doing laundry, rearranging the room.. and the list goes on..

oh well... to those still in the raya mode, puasa enam la wei!! :-) enjoy your raya.. i have enough of raya hangover.. too much santan in the system after one day..

raya has been... great! fantastic! and tiring if i may say so.. confident that it will fall on sunday, like most countries in the world, after maghrib on friday, seeing the announcement of regent mosque in the website really suprised me and a whole lot other ppl in england. so we have eid on saturday. out of the 4 years i have celebrated eid in england, this is actually the first time we are ahead of malaysia. everything had to be done that night because i have this odd tradition of must eat raya food pagi raya before solat raya.. so there we were busy in the kitchen cooking rendang and nasi himpit, baking cake raya.. until late night.

the raya day itself was really busy. had 4 places to attend... and friends come by to our place.. it was really fun... get to know more new people. a gathering with the old. spending time with the usual acquantainces.. splendid day overall

and with no more open house to go on sunday, what better things to do than to go for a 10 am movie of bridget jones 2.. to those havent watch the movie, please do so.. superb show. a note of dissatisfaction to msd london, please do not publish wrong information in your official website. we have planned carefully to be in time of the msd open house as mentioned in the site, starts at 12 pm.. but apparently, ended at 12 pm. resulting the pizza hut outing for us.

Girlfriend: How much do you love me?
Boyfriend: errr.. a lot..
Girlfriend: yeah, but how much?
Boyfriend: errr... tonnes?
Girlfriend: tonnes?
Boyfriend: yeah... like 5 tonnes?
Girlfriend: ???????????

Boyfriend: so, how much do you love me?
Girlfriend: well, as much as bubbles in the ocean, as many as leaves in the forest, as many as stars in the sky....
Boyfriend: ohh.

A few days later,

Girlfriend: how much do you love me?
Boyfriend: hmmm.... as much as feathers on a chicken...
Girlfriend smiling.. and thinking, 'oh well, nice try.. atleast he learned something'

well.. i think my computer is totally angry with me now. somehow i think it has a soul. it knows when i am complaining to ppl while chatting on the messenger of how crazy it is and how unreliable. poor him.. giving it a male gender on the obvious reason that sometimes men are just unreliable! peace.. :-)

anyways, after installing an anti virus system, the computer decided not to allow me access into windows. so, with no other possible methods, i need to reformat it again for about the 20th time this year. and with my technical expertise, i aborted the process, hoping to be able to save some files..

why?? why did i click the cancel button? cause now, the computer wont even run the factory format disk and when i switch my computer on, it's black blank screen with a sentence:
operating system not found

what have i done? and now i am computerless... so, do not expect any updates.. or maybe, now that i know how important my laptop is, i will always update using other ppl's computer.. funny funny world..

so, anybody around london has the windows XP installer with a boot disk? and the boot disk is not one done using windows.. an entirely different one.. can i borrow??? pleaseeee...

thanks to those who have patiently listen to me whining about my laptop. maybe now i have to manja it a bit.. which is the usual thing with men too.. :-)
